[SCCS]04/24/2017: 2017 Summer Picnic
Dear Parents,
As planned, the SCCS PTA will be hosting the 2017 annual summer picnic at the Fairgrounds Pavilion and Green in Orange on Sunday, May 21st from 12:00 to 5:00 pm. You may go swimming (indoor pool from 10am to 2pm, extra fees applied and space is especially tight for Sunday), play tennis (reservations were made for our members), basketball and volleyball, walk in the park, etc. There is also playground for the younger children. The PTA will organize fun games for members of all age groups. As some of our new members might not yet know, our traditional summer picnic is a pot luck style picnic lunch. Please bring your favorite dish or any foods you wish to share with others. This year, the PTA will order some popular Chinese food from local Chinese restaurants. Pizza and bottled water will also be provided for everyone. Lunch will start at 1:00pm at the picnic shelter. We will be sending more details in the coming weeks. We would really appreciate if you could register in your earliest advance for the event by telling us the number of attendance and what food(s) you plan to bring. We also need volunteers to help with set up, games, and clean up. Please indicate in the “suggestion” column if you are willing to help, or if you have any suggestions or ideas for the event.
