Description: The textbook is "Elements of Style", which is widely regarded as the Bible of effective writing. The course will teach students proper grammar, punctuation, composition and many other important skills in English writing, the mark of an accomplished writer. Students will be able to write in a way which conforms to the requirements of most English teachers. The course will also prepare students for writing in SAT Essay and Language Arts sections, and Common College Application Essay.
