Description: Research, Speech, and Debate We all have plenty of ideas and opinions. But how do you turn an opinion into an informed argument or a claim? And how can you communicate your claims in an effective way? In this course, you will learn how to research, write, and speak -- fundamental skills that you will use in any type of future academic or professional endeavor. We will apply these skills to a variety of topics for debate, including contemporary social and political issues that you, the students, will vote upon. Open to all ages.
