The following positions are open for the Chinese School Summer Section, which runs from 8/11/2008 to 8/22/2008, Monday through Friday. Deadline for application for all positions, except the volunteers is 7/20/08. 1. Associate Program Director (1): To function as a full time staff member to run all daily activity, design and in charge of teaching the Chinese Culture class, assist the program director design and run all related school activities, and supervise other staff member and volunteers/interns. Requirements: can speak fluent Chinese, bachelor degree or higher, teaching or education experience in U.S. preferred. Certified CPR is preferred. Competitive pay rate depending on level of education and prior experiences. 2. Staff member (1): To function as a full time staff member to run all daily activity under the supervision of the Program Director and Associate Program Director. Requirements: Speak fluent Chinese, prior teaching or education experience either in China or U.S. is preferred. Competitive pay rate depending on level of education and prior experiences. 3. Math teacher (1): To teach one hour math class everyday Requirements: bachelor degree, prior teaching or education experience is preferred. Competitive pay rate depending on level of education and prior experiences. 4. Dance teacher (1): To teach one hour dance class everyday Requirements: Speak fluent Chinese, prior dancing/teaching experience is preferred. Competitive pay rate depending on level of education and prior experiences. 5. Volunteer/Internship position (up to 6): To assist staff members on all daily function Requirements: positive spirit and being responsible, speaking fluent Chinese is preferred. No payment will be made, but community activity certificate will be issued at the end of the program.
