Position Open Southern Connecticut Chinese School is looking for a person to fill in School Provost position. Requirements: The applicant has to have teaching experience, and teaching Chinese experience is preferred. In addition, applicant should have a clear vision regarding to Chinese language teaching in North American, and creative idea and open mind to the new technology. Future Responsibility: Develop and oversee the Chinese language teaching curriculum; Oversee the quality of Chinese language teaching; In charge of training and evaluation of the teachers for Chinese language teaching; Make recommendations for Chinese text books; Assist the principal in the School council function; Establish and oversee the process for class placement, parent communication, examinations, and other major issues related to Chinese language teaching; Others deemed necessary by the School principal. The school operates on Sunday only. Applicant should aware that this is not full time job. However, this position is paid and will have equivalent payroll as School Chinese Language teacher does and plus bonus depends on the performance. In addition to Provost, the school is recruiting Chinese Language teacher and Mathematics teacher. Please specify your interests when you make the application!
