Dear parents and teachers, Happy New Year! In order to strengthen our Chinese school, with the support of the school board, PTA, and school administration, we are calling for a workgroup or a think tank to work on the school structure. The purpose of this workgroup is to identify all necessary school functions and to optimize school structure. Hopefully by doing so, we will be able to lessen the burden of the school administration and teachers, increase the support for key school functions, and better incorporate members' inputs. Initially the meeting was planned at the end of last semester, due to the weather condition and the school canceling; the meeting is now rescheduled as the following: Time of the meeting: January 11, 2008, Sunday from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm Location: 434 Temple Street, Room 102, New Haven Direction Temple Street is a one-way street that parallels Church Street to the west. You need to take a left or right turn from Trumbull Street. The meeting place is next to theYale-China Association. You can park your car at the parking lot of 421 Temple Street. It is the Office of Yale International students and scholars. If you have any questions or cant find us, please call (203) 285-8088. Anyone is welcome to join; we would like to have inputs from all, parents, teachers, students, school officials, PTA teams, and board directors.
