Description: The 2020 Presidential election is shaping up to be unlike any other election in modern American history. In this class, students will get an introduction to American politics so that they can intelligently comment on the most important issues of the 2020 campaign: coronavirus policy, racism, the American economy, and more. Politics is more than just elections, however. With each class, students will gain a deeper appreciation for how politics impacts their daily lives. They will learn how political decisions determine what our neighborhoods look like, with whom we go to school, and what types of jobs we have. American politics helps explain why America is the way it is -- this class will introduce students to all things politics, just in time for the 2020 election.
