Description:	Every individual finds themself at some point in their life asking the question, ��What is the right thing to do in this scenario?�� Despite humans exhibiting strong moral intuitions in most situations, our capacity for moral examination is inhibited by a lack of knowledge of ethics and more importantly, the absence of discussion. In this class, we will spend a lot of class time discussing moral dilemmas (some traditional and some unorthodox) and trying to come to a decision regarding their underlying moral questions. In doing so, students will not only develop a knowledge of classical moral frameworks (such as utilitarianism) and standard moral dilemmas in the philosophical canon, but will also learn how to have such discussions when scenarios inevitably arise in their lives.
