Description: This course is for students preparing for math competitions including AMC10 and MathCounts Chapter and above level. Half of the class time will be lectures about the knowledge points needed in the competitions. We will use the book “Art of Problem Solving Volume 2: and Beyond” by R. Rusczyk and S. Lehoczky. In the other half of the class time, Ryan Yang, a 2021 mopper (USA Mathematical Olympiad Summer Program participant) and a former MathCounts Connecticut Champion, will go over problem sets from previous years of competitions. The students are expected to spend 1.5+ hours per week on homework.
