Description:	Hello! My name is Sharon Li and I’ve taught creative writing with SCCS for a year and a half, and I am excited to be teaching again this semester! The course curriculum will involve a variety of creative writing lessons (including short stories, personal narratives, poems, and potentially scripts/podcasts) and grammar lessons every week; however, I usually mold the curriculum to fit the current semester’s class. During class, I will go over a lesson, give examples of creative writing pieces, help students brainstorm, and answer questions. Students will be expected to complete relevant homework for class but will be given some class time as well to work on their pieces. The main objective of this class is to introduce students to different types of writing and develop essential grammar skills that they can use later on in life, but more importantly, to have fun writing!
