Description: This course is for students preparing for math competitions including AMC8 and MathCounts. Half of the class time will be lectures about the knowledge points needed in the competitions. We will use the book “Art of Problem Solving Volume 1: The basics” by R. Rusczyk and S. Lehoczky. In the other half of the class time, we will go over problem sets from previous years of competitions. The students are expected to spend 1.5+ hours per week on homework.
